Duties include managing the day-to-day operation of two managed content delivery
networks, answering email and telephone requests and inquiries from customers
using those networks, interfacing with on-site technicians to handle remote
hardware maintenance and replacement, diagnosing technical issues with the
platforms and using tickets to track actions from onset to solution, and
managing technical incidents. Additional duties include serving as a subject
matter expert for individual components of the MCDNs, converting manual
processes into automated scripts, performing remote software installation and
upgrades using an in-house software package, and auditing and maintaining the
small handful of Windows-based workstations in the operations center.
